# Crumbpass

> Crumbpass is a restaurant loyalty platform built in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Restaurants run their own branded loyalty programme, offers, menu and staff tools; guests join by scanning a table QR code and signing in with WhatsApp, without downloading an app.

Crumbpass has three parts that share one ledger of visits, bills and rewards:

- **Owner portal** (owner.crumbpass.in): build the loyalty programme (earn by amount spent or per verified visit, welcome coins, referrals, expiry), create offers with eligibility and usage limits, brand the customer portal, manage the menu, staff access, table QR codes and Google review links.
- **Staff portal** (staff.crumbpass.in): record verified visits, check a guest's pass and confirm rewards. Staff only see their own restaurant.
- **Customer portal** (each restaurant has its own address, e.g. <restaurant>.crumbpass.in): a restaurant-branded home for the menu, coins, offers, games and feedback. Opens in the phone browser from a QR scan and can be installed later as a web app.

## Key facts

- Guests do not need to download an app; the portal opens in the phone browser.
- Guests sign in with a WhatsApp one-time code and keep one account across every participating restaurant. Each restaurant has its own membership, coin balance and rewards.
- Each restaurant gets a dedicated customer address, its own branding and its own programme. Staff access and restaurant records stay scoped to that restaurant.
- Staff confirm bills and redemptions at the restaurant; coins are issued from verified bills or visits.
